This is the only smoothie recipe you need!
Delicious, super easy and full of great green goodness. This smoothie is great for if you are first starting out trying out smoothies, or if you just need to switch it up. Also too, if you want to get creative you can add in other greens, berries or anything you have on hand.
But what are you going to be actually drinking?
The spinach doesn’t add bitterness or any taste at all to the smoothie, but packs 6.7 grams of protein into each smoothie. You could add protein powder for added protein or just enjoy as it is.
Oh and also while we speak numbers, this one smoothie has twice your daily intake of Vitamin C, full daily amount of Vitamin A, 40% daily Iron, and 1,700mg of Potassium. So in less then 3 minutes you can have yourself a delicious and nutritious breakfast or just a snack.
And the best news of all, you throw all 3 ingredients into your blender. Start it up, and when it is all smooth, enjoy. Also, I often will pack this for a mid afternoon pick me up, and it lasts great to enjoy later in the day or even the next.

Serves 20 ounces

- 2 Cups Orange Juice (want to cut carbs? reduce the amount of juice, replace with water or coconut water)
- 2 Cups Spinach (fresh or frozen)
- 1 Banana
- Add all the ingredients to your blender
- Mix until well combine (approx 30 to 60 seconds)
